What Should Men Know About Liposuction and Body Contouring?

Men often ask about fat that remains over the abdomen, waist, chest, or beneath the chin despite a stable weight and regular training. Liposuction can refine selected areas, but it reveals the structure underneath—it does not create muscle or replace fitness.

Common Treatment Areas

Why Male Planning Is Different

Many male patients want a straighter waist, stronger chest, or clearer V-shaped torso. The plan should respect muscle borders and avoid making the waist, chest, or face look unnaturally hollow. High-definition contouring is more detailed but cannot promise a six-pack when muscle development, skin quality, or anatomy does not support it.

Chest Fat Is Not Always Just Fat

A full male chest may contain fat, firm glandular tissue, loose skin, or a combination. Liposuction removes fat but may not adequately treat dense gland or significant skin excess. Examination determines whether direct excision or another approach is needed.

Who Tends to Do Well?

Good candidates are generally healthy, near a stable weight, have localized subcutaneous fat and reasonable skin elasticity, and understand that results depend on maintaining weight. Your NDV MED team can map the torso as one connected shape rather than treating isolated circles.
