What Happens During a Private Intimate-Care Consultation?

You remain in control throughout the visit. A consultation is not consent to an examination, photograph, or procedure. Your NDV MED team will explain why each step may help and ask permission before proceeding.

The Conversation Comes First

You can describe the concern in everyday language, how long it has bothered you, whether it affects comfort or function, and what change you hope for. Your clinician may ask about health conditions, medicines, allergies, prior surgery or injections, smoking or nicotine, urinary or sexual symptoms, pregnancy or childbirth where relevant, and healing history.

If an Examination Is Helpful

An intimate examination should occur only with informed consent, appropriate privacy, draping, and a chaperone according to clinic policy and patient preference. You may ask questions, pause, or decline. Photographs, if clinically useful, require separate explanation and consent regarding storage and use.

What a Good Plan Includes

Consultation Is Not Commitment

You can take time to think. For intimate care especially, a careful decision made without pressure is part of good treatment. Your NDV MED team welcomes questions that feel awkward, because clear answers are safer than assumptions.
