Can I Choose a Bigger Breast Implant?
Many patients want to know whether they can choose a larger breast implant than the size initially recommended.
Your preferences matter, but implant size cannot be selected by volume alone. The implant must also fit your chest, breast tissue, skin, and overall proportions.
What Determines How Large You Can Go?
Your NDV MED team will consider:
- Your chest and breast width
- Existing breast tissue
- Skin quality and elasticity
- Breast and nipple position
- Differences between your breasts
- Implant width and profile
- Your desired fullness
- Your activities and lifestyle
- Previous breast surgery
If an implant is too wide or heavy for your tissues, it may increase the likelihood of visible edges, rippling, stretching, sagging, poor positioning, or another operation.
What If I Want More Fullness?
Tell your NDV MED team what “bigger” means to you. You may want more upper-breast fullness, projection, width, cleavage, or overall volume. These goals do not always require the same implant.
Can I Change to Bigger Implants Later?
If you already have implants, changing to a larger size may be possible. Implant exchange is still another operation. Your team must assess the current implant, surrounding tissues, implant pocket, scar tissue, skin changes, and whether a breast lift or pocket adjustment may be needed.
What Actually Determines the Price?
The final cost may depend on the silicone implant brand and model, size and profile, whether this is a first augmentation or exchange, surgical complexity, implant-pocket adjustment, treatment of scar tissue, additional procedures, anesthesia, facility charges, tests, medication, and follow-up care.
A larger implant does not automatically mean a proportionally higher price. The implant selected and overall complexity of surgery usually matter more than volume alone.
Your personalized quotation will be provided after assessment. Implant suitability and a particular outcome cannot be guaranteed.
